外籍教练：中国冰雪项目的跨国界力量

他们中有些曾是冰雪上耀眼的明星，有些是早已功成名就的金牌教练。他们是跨越国界的体育精神的践行者。他们如今有一个共同的身份：51名中国冬奥体育代表团教练。

2月15日，单板滑雪男子大跳台决赛第三跳，得知苏翊鸣已经稳获金牌的教练佐藤康弘哭了,赛后师徒二人相拥而泣。谈起两人的故事，佐藤表示，如果四年前，他还曾对执教中国国家队有所犹豫，而今，他和苏翊鸣的故事一定会继续，“我们四年后意大利冬奥见！”

47-year-old Sato Yasuhiro is known as the "Father of Snowboarding" in Japan, who has coached Olympic stars including Miyabi Onitsuka, Reira Iwabuchi and Takeru Otsuka in thirty years of skiing. After the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, Sato was invited to be the head coach of Chinese snowboarding team, being the first to coach both China and Japan both teams. Sato developed a speed-up teaching methodology with his rich practical experience, for athletes changing to snowboarding from other events. Under the guidance of Santo, 14-year-old Su improved remarkably, quickly standing out from the peers.

In Sato's album, one photo is his favorite. It was taken in Colorado, US, December 2021, where the snowboard World Cup was held. In the photo, he was surrounded by Japanese player Reira Iwabuchi and Chinese player Su Yiming, both won gold medal under Sato’s guidance. Sato said “Because of me, athletes of two countries have a natural interaction. I really feel that I am a bridge, and this is my happiest moment.” Sato said in several interviews that sports are not only competition with each other, but also a way to cross national boundaries, and he is willing to contribute to the friendship between Japan and China.

Sato said that after coaching Su, he had the opportunity to learn more about China andmademany friends, which was also an important gain for himself. He appreciated the sincerity and frankness of Chinese people. He hopes that Japanese people will look at China with a more positive attitude and embrace different cultures with an inclusive attitude. Only in this way can their life be enriched. Sato also sent invitations to Chinese friends, "After the epidemic is over, many Chinese friends will go to experience the soft powder snow in Japan. Kim Sun-tae has been a "lifetime rival" of the Chinese team. Kim Sun-tae said he would leave the national team temporarily after the Winter Olympics. Similar to Kim, Ahn Hyun-Soo, a top speed skater who won big in both Torino 2006 and Sochi 2014, came to help the Chinese team by providing his expertise as a technical coach. His contribution has helped star athletes such as Wu Dajing see enormous progress. Ahn and Wu were once rivals, but are now friends who skate together on the ice.

There are many labels on Ahn, an athlete surrounded by both praises and controversies. However, there is no doubt that he is a legend of short track speed skating and has won countless medals on the ice. Chinese famous athlete Wang Meng commented that there was no second Ahn Hyun-Soo in the world and there could be many legends on this ice rink, but it was Ahn Hyun-Soo era that could lead and change the short track.

He once won three gold medals and one bronze at the short track speed skating rink of the Turin Winter Olympics, but unfortunately he had become a victim of the power struggles among the South Korean Short Track Speed skating team. No teams in South Korea would accept him. So he left his hometown for Russia, and became Victor Ann. At the Sochi Winter Olympics, he reproduced the miracle of three gold medals and one bronze with an extremely high level of performance, and became the "six-gold king" of the Winter Olympics. However, he lost the chance to participate in the Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games because of doping scandal of Russia, and then missed the world championships due to COVID-19. In April 2020, he announced his retirement.

北京冬奥会后，安贤洙与国家队的合约也将到期，谈及对未来的规划，安贤洙表示会先休息一下，回家跟妻子女儿团聚。

本届冬奥会上，担任中国自由式滑雪队伍教练的杰米·格雷·梅尔顿，是谷爱凌最初进入专业滑雪队接受训练的启蒙教练。从谷爱凌小时候到这一次夺金的旅程里，都有他的身影。

Jamie gray Melton, the coach of China's freestyle skiing team at the Winter Olympics, was Gu Ailing's first coach in professional skiing team. From Gu Ailing's childhood to this gold medal winning journey, he has always been there.

Prosser used to be private coaches of famous athletes like Kelly hildaru, and Tess Leder, the runner-up of women's platform in the Winter Olympics. He has rich experiences in coaching top ice and snow athletes. The two famous skiers and coaches who helped Gu ailing along the way, finally formed an indissoluble bond with the Chinese team.

In 2018, Prosser was hired as a technical coach by the Chinese national ski team, mainly responsible for U-shaped field skills.
